Really if the death of 48 people is not a big enough news for the MSM in India, then what is? Bloody buggers you've one person gunned down in Bombay and keep running the same news for days together but something happens in Northeastern part of India, not a peep about it. I guess coverage would only be given to incidents that take place in cities or depends on volume based interest. Seriously we and our priorities.
Update: 66 people killed and 470 Injured.

What is happening???? there a bombing every other week :(..
By now most of us over here are pretty much used to the circle. It's become a everyday affair for us to switch on the tele to see if a bomb went off in any part of India or not. You have jihadists, Maoists and now even hindu fundamentalits blowing things up, something like a free for all.
Assam really needs some good care. The recent Nun rape case during floods, the bomb blast, riots during floods...every single incident has reached extremes.
Recent nun rape case was very bad incident and Government did nothing to set right things until media made it big.
